Shabbat Shaharit Morning Private Prayers

As I rouse body, mind, heart, and soul,
I come to You this Shabbas morning.

Thank You for this gift of time without time.

For space to stop and rest and be in.
For time to renew.

I reach to You.
My Core. My Ground.
My Foundation.

As I wake this Shabbas morning I ready to enter Your tent of Peace,
And garb myself in sacred dress.

How my soul blesses You. How vast are You,
Garbed in splendor and grandeur, wrapped in Light as in a robe,
drawing open the heavens as a curtain.

So I enfold myself in tallit, to fulfill Your command,
"Place fringes on the corners of your garments throughout your generations."

Just as I wrap myself in tallit in this world,
so may my soul merit to be cloaked in a beautiful tallit
in the World to Come, in Gan Eden.

I'm now ready to come under Your wings,
and be held by the cloth of Your love.

Baruch Atah Adonai, Eloheinu Melech HaOlam, Asher Kidshanu B'Mitzvotav V'Tzivanu L'hitAtef BaTzitzit.

Blessings to You,  Shaper of the World, Who calls me to feel the sacred,
through Your mitzvot, through wrapping in tzitzit.

How precious is Your loving-kindness.
All creatures take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
Filled with the choice food of Your house, we drink from Your spring of delights.
For You are the Source of Life,
In Your Light do we see light.

Adon Olam

and called You by name, their Source.
