Psalm 147: Your power and wonders

You Who heal the broken-hearted… Who binds up their wounds.
Who counts the number of stars, calling each by name.
You, infinite with understanding, Who holds the humble.

With the kinor, I sing thanksgiving!
To You Who covers the heavens with clouds, Who prepares dew for the earth,
Who causes the mountains to spring forth with grass,
Who gives food to the beasts and to the young ravens as they cry out.
Who does not take pleasure in the strength of a horse, nor in the power of a man,
but delights in those who carry awe in their souls.

Psalm 148: Praises!

Praise to You in the heavens and heights, Your angels and Your hosts!
Your sun and moon, all stars of light,
the heavens of heaven, and the waters above the heavens.
Praise to You Who commanded and they were created, established forever.

I praise You from the earth, Your sea monsters and all lying in the depths.
Fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind, all doing Your word.
Your mountains and hills, fruit trees and cedars,
wild creatures and cattle, creeping things and winged birds,
kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and judges,
young men and young women, and elders and children.

Praise to You, Whose glory is above heaven and earth, Who lifts up rays of light…
    My praises fly to You.

Psalm 150: Every living thing sends their praise!

With a blast of the shofar...
with the psaltery and harp, the timbrel and dance,
with stringed instruments, the pipe and with loud clashing cymbals...

Every living thing that has breath sings praises to You!
