Psalm 116-I lift my cup to You

You heard my voice and my supplications, so I will call You all my days.
The cords of death encompassed me, the straits of Sheol found me,
and trouble and sorrow, were my companions.
But I called, "I beseech You, deliver my soul."

Gracious are You and compassionate, You, Guardian of the simple.
I was brought low, but You saved me.

Return, oh my soul, to your rest, for Your Source has delivered you from death.
My eyes are now freed from tears, my feet from stumbling.
I shall walk before You now, in the land of the living.

How can I repay You for your bountiful dealings with me?
I lift up my cup to You and call You.
