Psalm 139-Where shall I flee from You?

You have searched me and know my sitting and my rising,
You know my thoughts from afar.
You measure my goings and lying down,
You're acquainted with all my ways.
There is not a word on my tongue, but You know it utterly.

Where shall I go from Your spirit? Where shall I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend skyward, You are there.
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold there too are You.
If I lift up the wings of the sunrise, dwell in the deepest seas,
even there would Your hand lead me, Your right hand grasp me.

If I say, "Surely the darkness will envelop me, and the light about me shall be night,"
even the darkness is not too dark for You, the night shall shine as the day,
as darkness, so is the light.

For You have made my reins, You've knit me together in my mother's womb.
I will give thanks to You for I am awe-fully made.
Wonderful are Your works, this my soul knows very well.
My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret,
shaped in the innermost parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unshaped form, and all was written in Your book.
Days were fashioned when there was not yet one of them.

How dear are Your thoughts to me, how great the sum of them!
If I were to count them, they would be greater than the grains of sand.
Were I to come to the end of them, I would still be with You.

Search me and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts.
Lead me in the way everlasting.
